When we arrive there was only two person in the office.
We talked with an intern regarding about our projects and how she's gonna show us the basics of lighting in Houdini.
I showed her my pre-viz and asked for feedback.
The feedback I got was to give the shoe lace more attitude, give it a bigger, wild and crazy movement.
Crazy camera movement might be a nice touch.
Next Ari have us started off with a simple "test".
A test to see where we stand, how much we understand/know about procedural modeling.
We were tasked to create a procedural rocket/spaceship model.
After a couple of hours, I had controls like the height, width of the body, number of legs/stands/pegs etc
We were also given a lesson from one of the intern.
About procedural modeling.
The exercise was creating a fence system.

After Ari went through the storyboard, he said that I should start working on proxy models and key poses of my shots. He also mentioned that I could look more into motion graphic stuffs and set the look that I'm going for.

Here is a screenshot of my proxy models.

ReplyDeleteCool idea on the shoelace. Do put up the storyboard when ready. If possible put the videos in your blog rather than have a link. Easier for your "followers".
ReplyDeleteDone!
ReplyDeleteUpdated blog with pages to storyboard and animatics.
